TheNet/Office offers significant savings when compared to the price of combining the seperate components of this account and is the ideal solution for all businesses with the need to expand their communications with their company.

TheNet/Office is a single account package that gives multiple sub accounts. The Master account is the is the primary account in this setup and can be given various management abilities to enable the Master account user to admiinister the sub accounts. Domain name registration can be included as part of TheNet/Office at a significant discount and new sub accounts can be added or deleted as appropriate. The Master account and all sub accounts enjoy full and independent Internet access, full email facilities with individual password protected mailboxes and access through any of our UK Points of Presence*.

Service Includes.

Domain Name Registration - (Optional) Domain Name Registration allows your company to register an independent domain, eg. yourcompany.co.uk. This allows you to have a more memorable email address that emphasises your companies identity. Domain Name Registration also gives the option of having www.yourcompany.co.uk as your web site address as opposed to the usual www.thenet.co.uk/~yourcompany. This aids in making your web site easier to locate with out full information and more memorable for your customers.

Usenet News Feed - Each account has full Internet Access, including email, World Wide Web and all the other services provided to any ordinary account. This includes Reader account access to the Usenet News feed, a valuable source of information on thousands of topics that will enable your staff to keep up to date with industry attitudes and customer requirements.

512K Web Space - TheNet/Office combines this feature to allow your company to build a Web Site. A web site is a valuable way of informing your existing customer, advertising to new customers and selling new and existing product and service lines. If 512K is not enough for your site, additional Web Space can be purchased to enable you to increase the size and complexity of your web presence.

Initial Master Account - The Master account is included with in the cost of TheNet/Office. This is the managing account that administers the additional Sub accounts. The Master accounts can be enabled to receive copies of all email to any or all of the Sub accounts and, like the Sub accounts, has full independent Internet Access and email facilities.

Features.

Easily expandable - TheNet/Office begins as one Master account. Any number of Sub accounts can be added at any time to allow you to cater for new staff members or growing office needs.

No Online Charges - TheNet/Office is an all in one solution to your communications requirements and is not subject to additional online charges other than your usual telephone charges.**

POP-3 Mail - All mail is delivered using the POP3 protocol. This is compatible with a most email packages and has the benefits of ease of use and fast mail checking.

Mailbox Security - Each account has a secure mailbox that is password protected. Mail is therefore protected, preventing one sub account from reading the mail of another.

Manager Status - (Optional) The Master account can be given Manager status over the mail of any of the Sub accounts. This allows the manager to receive copies of all mail directed to any of the Sub accounts.

Multiple Logins - Both the Master and sub accounts are treated as completely seperate entities for Internet access. This enables multiple logins meaning that. although TheNet/Office is considered to be one account no matter how many sub accounts you have, all users are able to logon simultaneously.

Call Logging - (Optional) FCI can provide a statement to the holder of the Master account of network access over each month.

Working Example.

A company called ABC Ltd with 4 users runs TheNet/Office:

As John is the Network Manager, it makes sense for him to hold te Master. Any email addressed to an unrecognised address will be sent to him. This can obviously be changed, ideally a 'Postmaster' account should be setup, but this is not required.

Each mailbox is secured by an indivilual password, stopping one user from reading the mail of another without autherisation.
